Claude Sutton, PastorI was raised in a Christian home and attended Grace Baptist Church in Amarillo, TX. At an early age I made a profession of faith, but at the age of 18 realized that something was wrong in my life, because of a lack of desire to serve the Lord. The Holy Spirit used the testimony of one of my school teachers (Kathy Jordon) to bring me to the place of realizing I needed to be saved. On April 6, 1975 after several weeks of being under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and struggling with my salvation experience, I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior. My father, Bill Sutton, lead me to the Lord. I was baptized the following Sunday at Grace Baptist Church in Amarillo. God called me to preach shortly after my being saved. I attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. from 1975-78. In 1978 my wife and I help to establish New Life Baptist Church in Willard, MO. In 1980 we moved back to Amarillo and Grace Baptist Church to work with the youth. We remained on staff at Grace Baptist for the following 16 years. I was ordained into the ministry while in this position in 1989. Grace Baptist Church relocated and became Arden Rd Baptist Church in 1985. In August of 1996, the Lord directed, us to accept the Pastorate of Calvary Baptist Church in Cooper TX. We served the Lord at Calvary Baptist until June 2001. The Lord then directed us to Mansfield, TX and Countryside Baptist Church were we have served since June 2001. Come visit us when you are in Mansfield. Pastor Claude Sutton |

Eddie Sutton, Youth PastorI had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. At the age
of 7, I made a profession of faith. For the next 18 years of my
life, I lived my life thinking I was saved. While sitting in a
Revival service here at Countryside in 2003, I answered the call of
God to Preach the Word of God. I began serving as Youth Pastor here
at Countryside in March of 2004. In February of 2008 I really began
to question my salvation. On February 22, 2008 I settled the
questioning of my salvation by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as my
Savior. The desire to Preach and live for Him has only increased
since that time. |
